two/two.

My sculpture has yellowed. Bummer.

I am installing some work in the Big Bend Contemporary gallery in Rail Road Square this week. I'm not showing at first friday, it's just for documentation.

My application for Hub-Bub is due on the 15th and although I know my accomplishments and capabilities, I also know that the program is highly competitive and I am not very experienced. I'm nervous. I haven't had freelance work in a while and come february 16th, I could use the busy-ness/business.

I have been trying to come up with shelving solutions for my thesis, but I cannot figure it out. It's blank. Could I just make these jars levitate, please? I also would like to pair some kind of data visualization with the installation, but we'll see. Many meetings with Owen & Meg to come, which will be fruitful and inspirational I know.

Just watched the season finale of tough love 2 and onto celebrity rehab with doctor drew. there is nothing more in the world that I need.

silkscreen/sculpture update.

had some issues with registration for this project. I think that the registration was mostly fucked up from the beginning, see as how my partner wasn't making sure my paper was lined up. I don't mind at all, I sort of prefer it this way. I am really into these prints, especially the colors I mixed up.

update:

updates to website:
alisonrlevy.com
include - new videos, collapse all, front page slide show, "more" option.

new video:

temporarily untitled from Alison Levy on Vimeo.

new space:
managed to clean up my "dining room" enough to transform it into a relatively organized workspace (see below). this wide open work-space inspired me to work on my thesis until now, 141 am, which is the most time that I have dedicated in quite a while.

new places:
went up to Spartanburg, SC to visit the residency program, Hub-Bub. Must say, I've fallen in love. This program seems unreal, and I was blown away by everyone involved.
